The Allegro 2 is the reformer that shows up on more studio wish lists than probably any other machine in the Balanced Body lineup — and it earns that spot. It takes the legacy of the original Allegro, wraps it in a modern powder-coated aluminum frame, and adds the kind of adjustability and refinement that makes it equally at home in a high-volume group studio, a private session room, or a dedicated home space.
The defining feature is the footbar. You get two options — a carbon fiber Infinity Footbar that's light, quiet, and absorbs impact at just 10 lbs, or a standard steel Infinity Footbar that's heavier and more rigid at 16.25 lbs. Both slide horizontally across the full length of the frame to nine positions and adjust vertically to four positions including flat. That range of travel means you can set the footbar precisely for any body type, any exercise, and any programming style without compromise. Both come with a textured grip cover for secure hand and foot positioning and soft padding for comfort during extended use.
The carriage rides on Balanced Body's precision system — smooth, quiet, and consistent enough that you forget it's there. The SoftTouch rope and padded double loop kit adjusts via a lever that's quick, quiet, and doesn't interrupt the session flow.
