Designed to the exact specifications Ron Fletcher received from Clara Pilates herself, and built by Balanced Body with the craftsmanship and materials to honor that history. If you train in the Fletcher method, this is the machine your work was designed on — and there's nothing else on the market that replicates it.
The Fletcher Reformer is intentionally narrower than Balanced Body's Studio Reformer, staying true to the original apparatus dimensions. But the carriage is slightly wider by design — a deliberate accommodation for the standing work, expansive lateral movement, and fluid transitions that define Fletcher programming. A built-in standing platform with a non-slip surface supports that work safely without add-ons or aftermarket modifications.
Four matched red Balanced Body Signature Springs — all the same weight. That's not a limitation, it's the point. Fletcher's spring configuration was specific and intentional, built around the resistance profile his method requires. The no-roll spring bar offers two gear positions for resistance changes without overcomplicating what should be a seamless session.
